What schools in Williamson County have Teams?

Currently there are SCTP teams at Battle Ground Academy, Centennial High School, Franklin High School, Independence High School, Page High School, and Summit High School.  There is also a club based team for home schooled students called the Harpeth Crush.

How do I join a team?

Contact the head coaches at the schools and they can assist you. If your school does not have a team or you are home schooled, you can join an existing team at a school that has a team.

What do I need to do to join?

The first requirement to join a team is completing a TWRA Hunter Education classroom course. Once you have done that and joined a team, you are ready to go.

What equipment do I need to participate?

You need a shotgun, preferably a .20 gauge or a .12 gauge, capable of firing 2 shots in succession if you are going to compete in Skeet or Sporting Clays.  You will need shooting glasses/eye protection and ear protection with a noise reduction rating of at least 25 db.
